to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Dionis Backchurch Lime Street in

WHEREAS complaint has been made to us, two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Middlesex (one
whereof being of the Quorum) by the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Leonard, Shoreditch , Middlesex ,
That Mary Lambert< no role > Wife of William
Lambert< no role > (who hath deserted her)
and her Child lawful Issue named
Frederick< no role > aged about Fifteen Months, have
come to inhabit in the Parish of St. Leonard, Shoreditch , not having
gained any legal Settlement there; and are become chargeable to
the same: We, the said Justices, upon examination of the premises
upon oath, and other circumstances, do adjudge the same to be true,
and do also adjudge the place of the last legal Settlement of the said
May Lambert and Child is in the Parish
of Saint Dionis Backchurch Lime Street
in the City of London aforesaid.

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to require you the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said parish of
St. Leonard, Shoreditch , Middlesex , on sight hereof, to remove and
convey the said Mary Lambert< no role > and her said
Child named Frederick
from and out of your said parish of St. Leonard , unto the said Parish
of St Dionis Backchurch
and them deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
there, or to some or to one of them, together with this our order or a
true copy hereof, who are hereby required to receive and provide for
them according to law.
