At a Vestry held: the 23d: of August 1726

At this Vestry The Churchwarden acquainted the several Gentleman that were present That
the Great Bell was Cra [..] And that upon a Survey which had been lately taken of the Dells Happeared That
Now France were wanting to all the Bells in the Steeple And there fore he Submitted it to the Judgement of the Gentleman
of the Vestry Wether they would not think it proper that the Great Dells should be now Cast And that all the
[..] Should be new framed the Charge of doing Which would amount to One Hundred and Tenn
pounds and Upwards

Whereupon Some Gentleman that were present Informed the Vestry that they had had proper [..]
laid before them And had taken an Estimate of the Difference of exchanging the present Sett of Six Bells
with the Old Frances and Appartenances into Eight New Turnable and Musical Bells with Compleat New
Frames and all Appur [..] whatsoever that the whole would notexieed the Sume of Two Hundred
and fifty pounds and upon full Consideration had of that Matter

The Question was put by the Church wardens Whether the present Sell of Six Dells with the Old Frames
and Appurts should be exchanged and Eight New Bell with compleat New Frames & all Appurtena [..] be put
up in their Room & upon putting the same to the Vote it passed in the Affirmative Nemine Contrad [..]

And The Labour and Generosity of this Parish having been fully apporiented in Subscriptions
to the Organ It was Thought the most proper and ready Way to raise the said Sume of Two Hundred and
fifty pounds by the bind and Voluntary Subscriptions of the several Gentleman and persons who
are Parishioners and Inhabitants of this Parish And therefore the Church Wardens desired
with such Gentleman as would be so bind as to attend him to wait upon the severall Parishioners and
Inhabitants of this Parish with a Subscription paper for the purposes aforesaid.
