Auditors

and Mr. Walton late Overseers, Mr. Lampkin, Mr.
Tombs, and Mr. Irvine, or any Three of them, be
appointed Auditors to Audit the Account of Mr. Church-
Waden Scratton the Same to be audited in one Month
after Midsummer day.

The Vestry was then adjourned untill another

The Minutes of the Last Vestry of the 17th. April
read and Confirmed

Vault allotted
to Mr. John
Anderson

Mr. Church Warden Scratton acquainted the
Gentlemen present that Mr. John Anderson< no role > Banker in< no role >
Philpot lane< no role > , having lately lost his Wife, had applied
to him for leave to have a Family Vault or Burial
place in the Church and he had thereupon caused
this Vestry to be Summoned.

Mr Alexr. Anderson< no role > alledged that his Brother was
willing to make Such Compensation as the Parish
required if his request could be complied with.

The Order of Vestry of the 24th. Janry 1776 for allowing
the late Mr. Alderman Crichton a piece of Ground for a
Burial place was read.

And the matter being taken into consideration, it
appeared that there was no other place that could be
allotted to Mr. John Anderson< no role > for a Vault except under
the Vestry Room.

Mr. James Lane< no role > Foreman to Mrs. Piper a Stone
Mason being called in gave it as his opinion that
a Vault might Safely be made fit for the purpose, under
the Vestry Room, of Such dimensions, and in the mann [..]
