Sacrament Money

The Petition of Willm. Cogan< no role > a poor Householder of this
Parish for Alderman Abdy's Gift of Five Pounds, was
presented and read, but it being alledged that Mr. Willm.
Edwards< no role > , another Householder , had also applied for the
said Gift that he had resided twenty years in the Parish
served Ward Offices, and the Offices of Collector and
Sidesman , Upon putting the Question It was carried that
the said Five Pounds should be given to Mr. Edwards.
The Residue of Alderman Abdy's Gift being Fifty shillings
with Fifty shillings Sacrament Money was distributed
as follows.
