That this meeting was summoned for the nomination
and Return of Ward officers for the year ensuing

Two first in rotation were severally put up and ordered
to be returned to the Wardmote for Constables and Inquest
men for the year ensuing.

Mr. Gosling< no role > having alledged that Mr. Silva apprehen-
-ded himself to be ineligible, on account of his Religion
(being a Roman Catholic ) and intended to refuse serving
the said Offices; Mr. Joseph Tayler< no role > was also returned
for the same offices of Constable and Inquest man, in
case Mr. Silva's excuse shod. be admitted at the Wardmote

Common Council
Men

Mr. Peter Pope< no role > , Mr. Edwd. Tutet, Mr. Thos. Hudson< no role >
and Mr. Robt. Gosling< no role > were severally put in
Nomination, and ordered to be returned for Common
Council men for the year ensuing

Collectors of
Consolidated Rates

Mr. Stephen Hall< no role > and Mr. John Dod< no role > were nominated
for Collectors of the Consolidated Rates for the North
Precinct, and Mr. Abram Newman< no role > and Mr. Thomas< no role >
Powell for the South Precinct. After which Mr. Church-
-Warden Hall adjourn'd the Meeting till another
summons should be issued.
