Langbourn Ward a considerable time before he
came to his present Dwelling house in this
Parish.-His Excuse therefore was not admitted
and he was put up and chose Constable and
Inquest man for the year ensuing.

Common Council-
Men

Mr. Maynard, Mr. Pope, Mr. Jutet, and Mr.
Hudson were severally put in Nomination, and
Ordered to be returned to the Wardmote for Common
Council men for the year ensuing.

Collectors of
Consolidated Rates

Mr. Maynard nominated Mr. John Hawkins< no role > and
Mr. Robert Gosling< no role > for Collectors of the Consolidated
Rates for the North Precinct, and Mr. John Colebrooke< no role >
and Mr. Daniel Moore< no role > to be Collectors for the South
Precinct.

Mr. Church Warden Hawkins then
adjourned the Meeting till another Summons
should be issued.

Alderman Abdy's
Gift
Sacrament Money

Mr. Church Warden Hawkins acquainted the
Gentlemen present that no application had been
made to him by or on behalf of any Poor Householder
of this Parish for Alderman Abdy's Gift of Five
Pounds It was therefore agreed and Ordered that the
distribution of the said Five Pounds be postponed to
another year, and that Public notice be given in the
Church on the Sunday preceding next St. Thomas' Day< no role >
of such intended distribution. The Residue of Alderman
Abdy's Gift being Fifty shillings also Fifty shillings
Sacrament Money, and seven shillings and three pence
remaining in Mr. Palmer's hands of some former Gifts
undisposed of making in the whole Five Pounds seven
shillings and three pence was distributed as follows,
