Mr. Maynard then took notice that the Houses in
Philpot Lane adjoining to Mr. Theed's were intended to be
taken down and rebuilt soon after Christmas by which the
Parish Agreement with Mr. Theed wou'd expire, and submitted
to the Vestry whether it shou'd not be referred to a Committee
to take into consideration the state and condition of Mr.
Theed's House, chiefly with respect to the Party Wall, and to
treat and agree for Leting the said House.
Mr. Johnson thereupon Moved that the same Committee
that had Let the Parish Estates at Ware and Collier Row
be a Committee for Leting the House in Philpot Lane in
the occupation of Mr. Theed, and that they be empowered
to take every precaution necessary for securing the same
against any damage that may happen by taking down
the adjoining Houses, And being seconded, the Question
was put and Carried in the Affirmative Nem: Con: And It
was Ordered accordingly.
Then Mr. Church Warden Barber adjourned the Vestry
