The Further Sum of £15
Ordered for the Repairs of the
House Etc at Collier Row

It was thereupon Ordered that
Mr Chapman Shoud Go on and Compleat the Repairs Wanting
to the said House and Barn and that a further Sum (not
Exceeding the Sum of £15) be Allowed to him for that Purpose

The Petition of Mr John Winter< no role >
Oswin Read< no role >

Then a Petition of John Winter< no role > Oswin the
Parish Clerk was presented and Read therein Setting forth
That having on Salary from the Parish he had Received from
the Parishioners according to Antient Custom a Certain Rate
or Voluntary Payment in Lieu of Wages But several Family's
that have Removed from other Parishes where that Custom
doth not prevail (into this Parish) Decline to pay the same
And the Surpluss Fees being of little Value and his Income small
He therefore Prayed the Gentlemen Present would take it into
their Consideration And Allow him such Wages or Salary as
they shoud think fit

Resolved that the Petition of the said John
Winter Oswin< no role > be now taken into Consideration and several
Resolutions and Orders made by other Parishes within the
City of London for the Support and Allowance of their Parish
Clerks were Produced and Read

And a Sum not Exceeding
£20 Agreed to be Allowed
him for 1 Year as a Gratuity
and [..] in Lieu of Wages

And After Mature Deliberation It was
unanimously Resolved And Ordered by the Gentleman present
that Mr Oswin should be Allowed a Sum not Exceeding
the Sum of £20 for one Year only to Commence from Lady
day last to be paid him by the Church Warden at the Years
end [..] as a Gratuity only upon Condition He dont
