By the Calendar of the Prisoners there appeared to be,

Dillon Phebe< no role > , a Prisoner
relief afforded her.The Committee took into consideration a recommendation
of the Revd. Mr. Bowen respecting Phebe Dillon, a distressed
Woman Prisoner, and upon their own observation, agree that she
deserves particular care, and therefore order her a permission to
be continued in the House till she may be able to return to her
Mother, with such accommodations as Mr.Bowen and Mr. Haslam may direct, if in the mean time there should be no
Sub-Committee.

Then the recommendation of the Sub. Committee of Decr. 19th.
of erecting a Chimney in the Spare Room, which it is agreed to
postpone till after an inquiry into the probable expence of the
alteration.

a Substitution of coarser
Bread for Prisoners.Also the recommendation of the Sub-Committee of Decr.
the 11th. relating to the high Price of Bread, but it being found
that the Prisoners in general preferred their present allowance
to the intended substitution of coarser Bread, nothing further
could be done.

Sub-Committees-Proceedgs.
of confirmed. The Committee read and confirmed the Proceedings of the
intervening Sub. Committees since the date of the last Prison
Committee, met on November the 19th.

Read a letter from Mr. Leman explaining in a Satisfactory
manner the cause of his delay in the finishing of the Durg Mill.
