And then the following Address prepared in
consequence of the foregoing Resolution was read
and approved and a sufficient number of Copies
was ordered to be printed and one thereof delivered
to every Occupier of an House with in the Parish vizt

Saint Botolph Aldgate in the City of
London.

An Act of Parliament having lately passed for
taking an Account of the Population of
Great Britain and of the Increase or
Diminution there of whereby the Overseers of
the Poor Etc of the several Parishes Etc in England
(with such Assistance as in the said Act is
mentioned) are directed to take an Account
in Writing of the Number of Persons being
within the Limits of their respective Parishes
on the 10th. day of March 1801 by proceeding
together or separately from House to House
or otherwise as they shall judge expedient for
the better execution of the Act and are empowered
to ask such Question of Persons with in the said
Parishes Etc respecting themselves and the
Number and Quality of the Persons constituting
their respective Families as shall be necessary
to enable them to make Answers and Returns
required by the said Act. The Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate
in the City of London in order to facilitate the
taking the said Account as far as respects the
said Parish request that the several occupiers
of Houses within the said Parish will as speedily
