And Likewise Declared that what the Builder of the said
intended New Tavern has done as Complained of by Mr Atkinson
in his first and second Complaints is contrary to Act of Parliament
and cannot be justified
The Feoffees having taken the several Matters before
mentioned into Consideration and Debated the same Do
Resolve not to Consent to any Acteration of their said ancient
Water Course And that proper Notice be given to have all the
Inconveniences Complained of removed Otherwise that the
Parish will take such Steps for that purpose as the Law directs

The Churchwardens acquainted the Feoffees that the Lease dated the
11th. Febry 1706
granted by the then Surviving Feoffees to Ann Collett< no role >
Widow
of 2 Houses in Houndsditch
on the East side thereof formerly Known by the
Sign of the Warming Pan & Lamb & Shears
& 9 Tenements in or near
Cock
Court
near or adjoining to said two Houses in Front in Hounsditch
for 61
Years from Lady day 1709
at Twenty one Pounds P Ann clear of Taxes
expired at Lady day last
And that the Assignee of said Lease at the
expiration thereof quitted Said Premisses-Whereupon the Feoffees
now took an immediate View of the premisses & found the same in a
very ruinous Condition
Resolved & Ordered that an exact plan of the Ground be
taken by Mr Cleaver to be laid before the Feoffees at their next Meeting
