The Minutes of the General Vestry of the 2d. day of
February
last were now read, and also a Report of the
Committee appointed by the said General Vestry was
read which is as follows (vizt.)
Saint Botolph Aldgate
To the Inhabitants of the Parish of Saint
Botolph Aldgate in the City of London and
County of Middlesex in Vestry Assembled
We whose Names are hereto Subscribed being (with other
Appointed by an Order of a General Vestry of the
Inhabitants who pay to the Poor of this Parish held
on the Second day of February One Thousand Seven
Hundred and Forty Nine
) a Committee to Consider
of Proposals made by the Reverend
Thomas Kynaston< no role >
Clerk Impropriator
and Minister
of the said Parish and
Parish Church for the Sale and Disposal of the said
Impropriation and Rectory Impropriate to the
Parishioners thereof and also to Consider ino the clear
annual amount and receipt of the Tythes of the said
Parish stave Carefully considered of the said Proposals
And We Observing by the said Proposals that Mr.
Kynaston asked Fourteen Thousand Pounds for the
said Impropriation and Living and the Parishioners to
be at the Expense of Procuring an Act of Parliament and
whatever else should be necessary to Convey the same
and to pay the Land Tax which at the present Rate of
Three Shillings in the Pound amounts to Sixty Seven
Pounds Ten Shillings and Fee Farm Rent of Twenty
Two Pounds a year issuing and payable thereout Or that
he would dispose of the same for a Perpetual Annuity
of Five Hundred Guineas and he would thereout pay
the said Fee Farm Rent Land Tax and Expences
