all which the said Feoffees Agreed to be paying the Charges of
the said Lease and allso of the former Leases made to the
said William Williams< no role > , and the said Francis Hill< no role > now
signed an Agreement for that purpose and paid
in part of the Rent to grow due for the same.

Ordered that the Vestry Clerk Present the said Leases
to be Executed at the next Meeting of the Feoffees,

At a General Vestry of the whole Parish
held at the Vestry Room in the Church on Monday
the 28th. March 1748 .

The Feoffees In Trust for the Letting and disposing of the Lands and
Tenements belonging to the Freedom & Lordship Parts of this Parish
Acquainted the Vestry that they had Let in a Building Lease to Mr. Thos.
Smith
< no role > a Butcher the Ground & old Houses in Aldgate High Street in
the Butcher Row in this Parish for a Term of 61 Years to Comence
from Lady day last at the yearly Rent of £10 payable Quarterly
clear of Taxes, and that the said Mr Smith had paid them a Fine
of £126, and Covenanted to Build two Substantial Brick Houses
on the said Ground within 12 Months from the Commencemt. of the
said Lease, and had Executed a Counterpart there of which being
produced this Vestry well approved of

The said Feoffees also acquainted the Vestry that the Ground
in Hounsditch belonging to this Parish which had been formerly
Agreed to be Let ona Building Lease to Mr. William Williams< no role > for 61
Years from Lady day 1746 at the yearly Rent of Four Pounds
Four Shillings payable Quarterly clear of all Taxes and
Deductions had not been built only the said William Williams< no role >
neither had the Leases in the said Contract been Executed, the said
Williams soon after becoming in solvent and being now
Poisoner for Debt, And that they had thereupon agreed wth. Mr.
