Mr. Dance the Surveyor pursuant to the last Order of Vestry
and delivered to the Committee a Plan or Designe for a new Church and
The Charge and Expence of which Including the present and other
Materials to be done in a Substantial manner will amount to £4000

Whereupon the Committee unanimously were of Opinion that
application should be made to Parliament for the Sum of Six Thousand [..]
to be raised to bear the Expence of the said Building and other incident

It is the opinion of this Committee That the same be raised by Way [..]
And that untill the Church shall be rebuilt there be a Tabernacle
Divine Worship in some convenient Part of the Parish

Agreed that a Sub Committee be appointed to find out such pr [..]
Place and that the Churchwardens Deputy and Common Council for [..]
being be the said Committee who are to Report the same to this Commi [..] .

At a Vestry held for the whole Parish on Thursday the Eighth [..]
of December 1740 at the Crown Tavern in Aldgate High Street
