Att a Vestry held for the Parish of St. Buttolph without
Aldgate in the Vestry Roome the 3d. day of January 1712

Mr Churchwarden Nutt Reported to the Comittee that the Feoffees
being some time past summoned together to Consider of the Method
to Oblige Dr. Loyd to Build the houses on the Ground Granted to him
by the Parish Persuant to the Covenant of his Lease and it was agreed
to advise with Councell which accordingly was done and the Councills
Oppinion was Read to this Vestry

Mr Churchwarden Nutt Likewise Reported that the Said Dr. Loyd was
desireous to be Released from the said Lease and that One Mr. Lopez a Tew
was minded to take the said Ground and to Build on house of 700 Vallue
thereupon

The Question was put whether the Vestry were minded that the
Feoffees do preferr a Bill in Equity against the said Dr. Loyd to oblidge
him to make Good his Covenant and it was carried in the Affirmation

Ordered that the Churchwardens do make their report of the
Resolucons of this Vestry concerning the prmisses and that they be
desired to concurrd with them therein and that the Renter
Churchwardens do from time to time pay all such moneys as
shall be required on the account of the aforesaid suite in Equity
against the said Dr. Loyd.

Mr Churchwarden Nutt Likewise reported to the said Vestry that
Jeremiah Bentham< no role > This name instance is in set 2192. Clarke of the same had made a Demand of
him for moneys due to him as Clarke for his attendance for severall
years att the Vestry and for bussinesse done by him for and in
respect of the Parish

It was Ordered that the foure Churchwardens for the time
being be a Committe to Inspect into the Clarks Bill and make a
Reportt thereof to the next Vestry and their oppinion concerning
the same
