John Richards< no role > maketh oath that he
was about Sixteen Years aged duly bound Apprentice by
Indre to James Butcher< no role > of the Parish of St Mary
White Chapel in the sd County Cooper for the Term
of Seven Years & the Sum of Ten Pounds was paid by
this Deponts Father to his Said Master as an Apprentice
Fee That this Deponent duly Served his Said
Master for the said Term & lodged the last three
Years of his Sd Apprenticeship in the Parish of
Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the sd County
where his Apprenticeship expired That this Depont
has not Since rented a house of Ten Pounds a year
or upwards or Served any Parish office or Paid
any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or done any
Act to gain a subsequent Settlement elsewhere
