Margaret Dalton< no role > Singlewoman maketh oath
that her Father Edward Dalton< no role > lately rented a house of the yearly Rent of
Fourteen Pounds in Nightingale Lane in the Parish of St.
John Wapping in the Sd County & resided thereon for the Space
of Six Months & upwards & by means thereof gained a legal
Settlement there & during Such his Residence in the Sd house
this Deponent lived with him as part of his Family That to
this Deponents knowledge or belief her Said Father has not
Since rented a house of Ten pounds a year or upwards or Served
any Parish office or paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes
or done any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement That She this
Deponent never was bound an apprentice nor ever lived as a
hired Servant for a year nor was ever Married nor ever
did any Act to gain a Settlement for herself

named Margaret Holiday< no role > aged about Seven Years & now residing
with this Deponent in the Parish of St Botolph without Aldgate
in the Sd County is the Daughter of one William Holiday< no role > whose place
of Residence is unknown to this Depont & which Child is likely to
become Chargeable to the Said Parish of St Botolph Aldgate That
divers years ago the Sd William Holiday< no role > was bound Apprentice by
the Trustees of the Charity School of the sd Parish of St Botolph Aldgate
to William Jones< no role > of the Precinct of St Catherine in the Sd County
Cooper & Served the whole of his Apprenticeship in the Sd Precinct That
the Sd Willm Holiday< no role > to this Deponts knowledge or belief has not
Since rented a house of Ten pounds a year or upwards or Served any
Parish office or paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or done any
act to gain a Settlement Since his Apprenticeship nor hath his Sd Danr
done any Act to gain a Settlement for herself
