Ann Colledge< no role > the wife of Robert Colledge< no role > who is
now absent from her maketh oath That She has been informed by
her Said husband & which She believes to be true that divers Years
ago he was duly bound Apprentice by Indre to James Bollard< no role > of the
Parish of St Botolph with Aldgate in the Sd County Waterman
for the Term of Seven years That this Deponts Sd husband Served
his Sd Master there for about Six years & then his Said Master
& himself removed to a publick house known by the Sign of the old
Rose & Crown in the Parish of St John Southwarke in the County
of Surry Where this Deponts Sd husband Served the Remainder
of his Said Apprenticeship & by means thereof gained a legal Settlemt
there to Wit the Sd last mentioned Parish That this Deponents
Said husband has not Since lived as a hired servant for a year
or rented a house or other Tenement of the yearly Rent or Value
of Ten pounds or Served any Parish office or paid any Poors.
Rates or Kings Taxes or done any Act to her knowledge or belief
to gain a Subsequent Settlement That She this Deponent was
lawfully married to her Sd husband

oath that divers years ago She was hired & lived as a hired Servt
by the year by & with Mrs Spelter Tallow Chandler in Upper
Eastsmithfield in the Parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in
the Sd County at Certain Wages & Continued in Such Service for abt
five Months That this Deponent was born in the Sd Parish & never
was an Apprentice nor was ever married & never did any Act to
gain a Settlement for herself and this Deponent Can give no
account respecting her Parents Settlement Save that her late
Mother died in the Workhouse belonging to the Said Parish
