Carolina Floyd< no role > Singlewoman maketh oath
that She never was married and that divers years ago She
was hired & lived as a hired Servant by the year at Certain
yearly Wages by & with Hans Tennis< no role > of the Precinct of Saint
Catherine in the Said County Victualler & Continued in Such
Service for the Space of three years & by means thereof gained a
legal Settlement there That She has not Since lives as a hired
Servant for a year or rented a house of Ten pounds a year or
upwards or Served any Parish office or paid any Poors Rates
or Kings Taxes or done any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement
That She hath a Child named Peter James Hedgley< no role > aged
about fourteen Months Which was born in the Parish of St.
Saviour in Southwarke in the County of Surry & is illegitimate
& Bastard and that one Peter Hedgely< no role > late of Newington in
the Same County Painter is the Father of the Said Child
