James Smart< no role > maketh oath that divers
Years ago he rented a house of the Yearly Rent of Eight
pounds in Bailey & Place in the Parish of Saint Botolph witht
Aldgate in the County of Middlesex & was Charged to and
paid Kings Taxes for the same & by means thereof gained
a legal Settlement there That he this Deponent has not
Since rented a house of the Yearly Rent or Value of Ten
pounds or Served any Parish office or paid any Poors Rates
or Kings Taxes nor done any Act to his Knowledge or
belief to gain a Subsequent Settlement.


Sworn this 10th day
of February 1775 before
