Mary Cotton< no role > the Widow of George Cotton< no role >
deced maketh oath That She has been Credibly informed by Letter
received from Randle Brooke< no role > of Malpas in Chesshire and Which
information She believes to be true That her said late husband
died possessed of a Tenement of the yearly Rent or Value of Seven
pounds & ten Shillings Situate in the Township of Maceton in the
Parish of Malpas in the County of Chester which he held for Term
of his Life by Lease from Lord Cholmondeley with whom he
lived as a Servant for many years in the Township of Cholmondely
in the said Parish of Malpas And that by means thereof as She
this Deponent is advised & informed he gained a legal Settlement
in the said Parish of Malpas and this Deponent Saith that
to her knowledge or belief her said late husband did not do any
act to gain a Subsequent Settlement.
