Richard Yardley< no role > maketh oath that he and one Ann
Thomas
< no role > Since deced Cohabited & lived together as Man and Wife for the
Space of Six Years although in fact they were never Married and
during such Cohabitation she the said Ann Thomas< no role > was delivered of a
Female Child at the house of Edward Hubbard< no role > Baker in Ratcliffe highway
in the Parish of Saint George in the County of Middlesex Which Child
was Baptized in the church belonging to the said Parish by the name of
Jane Yardley< no role > and is as this Deponent is advised a Bastard by reason the
said Ann Thomas during such Cohabitation & before was a Widow woman
& had no husband then living to this Deponents knowledge or belief and
which said Child is of the age of two Years or thereabouts and likely to
become Chargeable to the Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate in the
sd County of Middlesex .
