her late Father Richard Hallsey< no role > deced has informed her & which
information She believes to be true That he was bound apprentice to &
served the whole of such apprenticeship with Thomas Palmer< no role > the Elder
in Hand & Pen Court in the Precinct of the Tower without within
the Liberty of his Majesties Tower of London & by means thereof
gained a legal Settlement there That to this Deponts. knowledge or
belief her said Father never did any Act to gain a Settlement
Subsequent to his apprenticeship and that she this Depont. never
lived as a hired servant for a year nor was ever bound an apprentice nor
ever did any Act to her knowledge or belief to gain a Settlement
in her own right.
