Susannah Renkin< no role > the widow of Minnis
Renkin
< no role > deced maketh oath that she well knows & is Acquainted
with one Edward Wright< no role > who is now Confined to his Room by
means of Sickness in the Parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in
Middlesex and this Deponent Saith that she hath been informed
by the Said Edward Wright< no role > & which information she believes to
be true That Sometime Ago he rented a house at the yearly Rent
of Ten Guineas in the New Way near the Parish Workhouse in
the parish of Saint Margaret in Westminster in the County
of Middlesex & Continued in such house for about the space of
a year & that by means thereof he gained a legal settlement
there and that to this Deponts knowledge or belief the Said Edward
Wright hath not since rented a house of the yearly Rent or Value
of Ten Pounds nor served any Parish office or paid any Poors
Rates or Kings Taxes or done any Act to gain a subsequent
settlement.
