George Barnard< no role > maketh oath That divers
years ago he was duly bound apprentice to and served the whole
thereof with one Benjamin Junks< no role > in the Parish of Saint
Mary at Lambeth in the County of Surry Button maker &
by means thereof gained a legal settlement there And this
Depont. Saith that since his Said Apprenticeship he hath
not rented a house of the yearly Rent or Value of Ten
Pounds nor served any Parish office nor Paid any Poors
Rates or Kings Taxes nor to his knowledge or belief hath
he done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement and that
he hath a wife named Susannah and four children to Wit
Susannah aged< no role > about fourteen years George Aged< no role > about
Ten years Stephen Aged< no role > about Seven years and Thomas
Aged
< no role > about four years the lawful Issue of this Depont.
by his Said Wife none of Which children have as yet
done any Act to gain a settlement in their own right.
