John Foster< no role > maketh oath That divers Years ago he
rented a house in the Parish of St. Nicholas Deptford in the County
of Kent and was charged to and Paid the Kings Tax for the Same
and by means thereof gained a legal Settlement there And this Depont
Saith that he hath not Since rented a house of the yearly Rent
or Value of Ten Pounds nor Served any Parish office nor Paid
any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor done any Act to gain a
Subsequent Settlement And that he hath a Danr. named Mary< no role >
Aged about Twenty one Years his lawful issue who was Part of
his Family when he lived in the said Parish of St. Nicholas Deptford
And that she was never married nor ever lived as a hired Servant
for a year not was ever Married nor hath She done any Act to
his knowledge or belief to gain a Settlement in her own right
