Banks
< no role > deced maketh Oath that her Said late husband
has informed her & which information She belives to be
true That he was born in the Parish of Henley upon
Thames in the County of Berks and that he was duly
bound apprentice by Indenture to one Weller a Smith
& Farrier in Bell Street in the Same parish with whom
he served the whole of his apprenticeship there and by
Means thereof as this Depont. is advised gained a legal
settlement there and this Depont. Saith that to her Knowledge
information or belief her Said late husband after his Sd.
apprenticeship never lived as a hired servant for a year
nor rented a house of Ten Pounds a year or upwards or
served any Parish offices or paid any Poors Rates or kings
Taxes nor did any Act to gain a subsequent settlement
nor hath this Depont. since her said late husbands death
done any Act to gain a settlement in her own right
to her Knowledge or belief.
