Philip Davis< no role > maketh Oath that he never was informed
or can he in any manner set forth the place or places of
Settlement of his late Parents or either of them But this deponent
saith that he has been informed by his late Mother deceased
that he this Deponent was born in the Parish of Malmsbury
in the County of Wiltshire about Forty six Years ago the
which Information this deponent verily believe to be true And
this Deponent farther saith that he never was bound Apprentice
or ever lived as a hired Servant for a year or ever served any
Parish Offices or paid any poors Rates or Kings Taxes or
rented a house of Ten pounds a year or upwards or ever did
any Act to his knowledge or belief to gain a Settlement in
his own right And that he has a Wife named Mary< no role >
