Maketh oath That She well knows her Niece Mary
Tapping
< no role > single woman who for sometime Past hath been and
Still is disordered in her Mind and Senses and is now
likely to become Chargeable to the Parish of Saint Botolph
without Aldgate in the County of Middlesex And this Depon [..]
Saith that the Said Mary Tapping< no role > is the Daughter of
Amos Tapping< no role > by Mary< no role > his wife this Deponents late
Sister both of whom are dead And their Place or Places
of Settlement And also of their respective Parents wholy
unknown to this Deponent And this Deponent farther
Saith that her said Niece Mary Tapping< no role > was born in
Shad Thames formerly in the Parish of Saint Olave but now in the Parish of Saint John Southwarke in
the County of Surry and is of the Age of Thirty five
Years or thereabouts And that to her knowledge information
her said Neice was never an apprentice Nor never
lived as a hired servant for a year Nor was never Married
Nor never did any Act to gain a settlement in her own
Right.
