Clementinah Wheeler< no role > the Wife of Robert Wheeler< no role >
maketh oath that she hath been informed by her Said
husband That divers Years ago and when a Singleman
he lived as a hired servant by the Year at Certain Yearly
Wages with Thomas Lane< no role > of the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes in the County of Middlesex Esquire and one of the
Masters of his Majesties high Court of Chancery and that
he Continued in such service for above the space of a year
& by means thereof gained a legal settlement in the Said
Parish the which Information this Deponent believes to
be true And this Deponent Saith that her said husband
since such his servitude as aforesaid hath not lived as
a hired servant for a year nor rented a house of Ten Pounds
a year or upwards nor served any Parish offices nor Paid
any Poors rates or kings Taxes nor done any Act to gain
a subsequent settlement to the knowledge information or
belief of this Deponent And this Deponent farther Saith
that She hath a Child named William< no role > Aged about Eleven
Years the lawful Issue of this Deponent by her Said
husband And that her Said husband is lately gone away
from her to Places Unknown to her
