Mary Barnes< no role > the widow of Henry Barnes< no role >
Labourer deced Maketh oath that her Said late husband
in the Year One thousand Seven hundred and fifty nine
lived in and rented a house in Hughes's Fields in the Parish
of Saint Nicholas Deptford in the County of Kent and
was charged to and Paid the Kings Tax for the Said house
and by means thereof as She this Deponent is advised gained
a legal Settlement there And this Deponent Saith that her
Said late husband did not afterwards do any Act to gain
a subsequent settlement to the knowledge or belief of this
Deponent And this Deponent farther Saith that she this
Deponent hath not done any Act since her said late
husbands death to gain a Settlement in her own right.

August 1765 before us
