about forty years ago Joseph Walton< no role > duly
was [..] apprentice to Mr Palmer a Waterman
and Lighterman in Thames Street in the Parish
of Allhallows Berking in the City of London
and duly served his apprenticeship & by Means
thereof gained a legal settlement there And
this Deponent saith that the sd. Joseph Walton< no role >
to her knowledge or belief do was never a hired
servant by the Year Nor Rented a house of Ten
pounds a Year or upwards nor served any
Parish offices Nor gain any subsequent
settlement And this
