Margaret King< no role > Singlewoman maketh Oath
that about Sixteen Years ago and when she was
about Thirteen Years of age she was bound
Apprentice by the Overseers of the Poor of the
Precinct of St. Katherine to Thos. Haines< no role > of
Queen Street in the Parish, of St. Botolph without
Aldgate in the County of Middx Gunsmith until
she shod. attain the Age of Twenty One Years
that she lived with her said Master in Queen
Street & served him there under the said Indenture
about Four Years, when with the knowledge &
Consent of her said Master she went to live
as a hired Servant by the year with Mrs.
Cleeves a Corn chandler in Church Row in the
Parish of St. Botolph Aldgate London at the
yearly Wages of Three Pounds & continued in
her Service near Three Months, that Notwithstand
her said Master gave her Liberty to go & live
with Mrs. Cleeves, he did not deliver her up
her Indentures or have them Cancelled so that
she could not but be considered as his
Apprentice, that after she left Mrs. Cleeve
she did not live with any other Person with
the knowledge & Consent of her said Master
nor has she done any Act to her knowledge
or belief to gain a settlement Since her
Said Apprenticeship
