Middlesex ss

Eliza Surridge< no role > Widow maketh Oath and saith
that about forty six years ago she was lawfully married
to her late Husband John Surridge< no role > at the Parish Church
of Saint James Westminster in the County of Middlesex .
that about thirty four years ago her said Husband rented
a House in Margaret Street in the Parish of Saint Mary
le bone in the said County at the Yearly rent of Thirty
Pounds and resided therein for the space of Six Years
and upwards, that he did not, to her knowledge or
belief, gain a subsequent settlement, that he died
about Six years ago. that she this deponent has
not, since her said Husbands decease done any
Act to gain a Settlement in her own right, that
being Poor and unable to Provide for herself she
has applied to the Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Botolph without Aldgate Middlesex for
Relief and hath been relieved by them
accordingly.
