Ann Volem< no role > the Widow of David Volem< no role >
decd. maketh Oath that she was lawfully
Married to her said late Husband at the
Parish Church of St. Botolph Aldgate London on
or about Seventeenth Day of Feby. 1794 . that
her said Husband was born in Ireland and
never did any Act to her knowledge or belief
to gain a settlement in England, & that she has
a Child named David< no role > aged about Three Years
the lawful issue by her said late Husband
And this Deponent further saith that before
her said Marriage and when She was a
Singlewoman she was hired as a Servant by
the year to Mr . Wm. Franks< no role > of the Parish of
Clapham in the County of Surry School Master
at the Yearly Wages of Nine Pounds and
continued in his Service under such hiring
for the space of Sixteen Months and never
did any Act to her knowledge or belief
to gain a Subsequent settlement (except
her Marriage as aforesaid, And further saith
that being Poor & unable to provide for
herself & Child, She has been obliged to
apply to the Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. Botolph without Aldgate Middlesex for
Relief & has been relieved by them
accordingly
