George Timperley< no role > maketh Oath that about
Thirty Eight Years ago he Rented a House of
Ten Pounds a Year in Peter Street Half
Moon Alley in the Parish of St. Botolph
Bishopsgate in the City of London, and
known or described by Nr 6 . and lived in
the same upwards of Three Years and was
charged to and paid all Parochial Taxes
for the same, that he has not since he
quitted the said House Rented any House
or Lodging of the yearly Rent or Value
of Ten Pounds or paid any Poors Rate or
Kings Tax or done any Act to his
knowledge or belief to gain a subsequent
settlement, And further saith that being
Poor and unable to provide for himself
he has been obliged to apply to the
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St. Botolph without Aldgate for Relief
& has been relieved by them accordingly
