between King Edward the Sixth, and the Citizens of
London, requires that poor Children who have been
harboured in the Hospital of Christ Church, should be
taught useful Occupations in the Hospital of Bridewell.

And we are of Opinion that either Children educated
in the Hospital of Christ Church , or the Sons of Freemen
of the City of London , or of Clergymen of the Established
Church, who have been honestly and Virtuously brought
up, should, in future be admitted into the Hospital,
but that these conditions may be dispensed with, in the
case of such Boys, approved by the Committee, as shall
have been apprenticed to Artificers previous to the time
of their being elected Artsmasters, and whom their
Masters may be desirous to bring with them into the
Hospital.

We are also of Opinion that no Boy should be
bound Apprentice in this Hospital who has passed
the Age of Thirteen Years.

That the Appointment of Boys to be bound
Apprentices should be made by the House Committee
subject to the confirmation of the General Court.

That a Book should be kept in the Clerks Office, in
which any Governor may enter the name of any Boy,
to be proposed to the House Committee, who is qualified
agreeably to the foregoing conditions, but.

That no Boy's name by proposed as a Candidate for
admission, who has not attained the Age of Thirteen
Years, and that his name be not entered unless the
Certificate of his Age be lodged at the same time in
the Clerks Office.

That no Boy should be bound Apprentice who has
not
