Continued Tuesday Novr. 29th. 1796
a Reservoir for the use of the New Privies the expence
of which would not exceed £100 and had
Ordered that the Surveyor should give directions
for performing the said works forthwith
And had Ordered that the Consideration of the reference
of the Sub-Committee respecting the admission of Patients
from St Lukes Hospital should be postponed till the next
Committee and that Dr Monro should be requested to
attend
And had Ordered that a small Still should be
provided for the Apothecary under his directions
And had Ordered different Workmen's Bills to be
paid amounting to £63-18-..
Tuesday Novr. 1st
That the Committee had ordered the Surveyor should
give directions for converting the Room used as the little
Infirmary into a Kitchen for the Matron the expence
of which he estimated at £32
That the Committee had taken into consideration the
recommendation of the Sub-Committee of the 13th August
last that some Established Rule should be formed
respecting the admission of Patients into this Hospital
who had been discharged from St Lukes not cured but
it appearing to the Committee that there were several
instances of Patients of that description having been cured
in this Hospital they were of Opinion that such Patients
should still continue to be received (but with the
greatest Caution) at the discretion of the Sub-Committee
That the Committee resolved that it should be
recommended to the next General Court that a Gratuity
of £50 be paid to Mr Peter Alavoine< no role >
