The Minutes of the Prison Committee of the 11th. February last were
read and confirmed Whereby it appeared
The Committee had Resolved that the President be requested to
convent a General Court on some day in February for the purpose
of taking into consideration the particulars and estimate laid before
them by the Surveyor of the repairs and alterations intended to be
done to the House which are to be Converted into a Prison for
the Men agreeably to the plan before approved. And had
Resolved that Advertisements should be inserted in the Papers
for contracting for doing the above works

A motion being and Seconded
Prison Comee.
"That the Prison Committee be empowered to Contract for
"the alterations proposed to be made on the South West side of
"the Square for the purpose of converting the Houses into a
"Prison for the Men."
And the Question being put it was unanimously resolved in the affirmative
Ordered that the same be taken into further consideration at the next
General Court.
