They had directed the Clerk to acquaint Mr. Bourn that the Office of Lincolnshire
Receiver is discontinued by order of Court and to desire he will receive the rents up to
Lady Day last and make up his accounts to the same period as soon as he conveniently

having offered himself as Bailiff to the Lincolnshire Estates and
recommended a mode of letting the Royalties and Tythes there the Committee had Resolved
that Mr. Emmitt be recommended to the Court as a proper person for Bailiff with a Salary of
£30 per Annum to commence from Michaelmas Day last he first giving security for £1000
himself and two sureties and that it be his duty to superintend the management of the Estates
in that County collect the rents there under £20 per Annum pay the Quit rent thereout and
remit the Balance to the Steward of Bridewell and that he also give notice to the other
Tenants in that County to remit their rents when due and see that the same be remitted
accordinglyAnd
