That the Committee had resolved, that it be recommended
to the General Court, that the Steward be authorized to pay
the Assessed Taxes, charged upon the following Officers and

William Griffiths< no role > , William Townsend< no role > , & Martha Wagland< no role > ,

Resolved, that the Minutes of the House Committee.
be confirmed, except such parts as relate to the payment of the
Assessed Taxes, for the Officers and Servants of this Hospital,
the consideration of which, is to be postponed till the next Court.

The Minutes of the Bethlem Committee, of the 30th. Jany
were read and confirmed, whereby it appeared.

That the Committee had resolved unanimously, that he
Treasurer be requested to pay Mrs. Haslam a Gratuity of
Twenty Guineas, for her Services as Matron during the
indisposition of the late Mrs. White.

And had Ordered that four Rooms for the Patients be
altered improved and repaired under the direction of the
Surveyor, at an expence not exceeding £200.

And had Ordered, that it be referred to the Surveyor to
consider, whether any, and what better accommodation
could be made for the Matron for the time being.

And had ordered different payments to be made amountg.
