was born in the Parish of Cluney
in the
County of Aberdeen
in Scotland came to England in the
Month of June 1783 and has ever since lived in different
Families in London in the Capacity of a Servant but not long
enough to gain a Settlement. That she was seized with
Distraction about 5 Weeks ago and is in a melancholy
Condition and had not Attempted mischief but is totally
dependant upon your Petitioner Wherefore your Petitioner
most humbly Prays your Worships will Please to order the said

to be Admitted a Patient into Bethlem
Hospital without a Certificate Your Petitioner being ready and
welling to give such Security as to your Worships shall seem
meet." It is Ordered that the said

be admitted a Patient in Bethlem Hospital upon three
sufficient Housekeepers becoming Sureties by Bond to the
Treasurer in the Penalty of £200 with the usual Condition
of Bonds given for other Patients admitted into the said
Hospital.
