Continued Thursday 27th. Novr. 1783

Mr. Deputy Edward Watson< no role > of Cannon Street
being proposed by Richd Clark< no role > Esqr . Aldn . Treasurer to be-
Elected a Governor of these Hospitals It is Ordered-
that such Election shall be Determined by a Majority of
Votes at the next General Court and that Notice of
such intended Election be inserted in the Summon's for
such Court.

his Benefaction of £50 reported


Mr. Treasurer reported that he had received of
Mr. Peter Perchard< no role > £50.. for the Use of Bridewell
and Bethlem Hospitals It was moved and seconded that
the Thanks of this Court be given to Mr. Perchard for his
kind and Charitable Donation which was done accordingly.

The Clerk reported that Pursuant to an Order of
this Court Dated 30th. of April last He had under the
Direction of the Worshipful the Treasurer Auditor General.
and House Committee Distributed the Historical Account
of the Origin Progress and Present State of Bethlem
Hospital for the Cure of Lunatics the Production of the
Revd. Thos. Bowen< no role > A. M. as follows that is to say.
To the Governors of these Hospitals.To the Presidents
and Treasurers of each of the Royal Hospitals. To the-
Presidents and Treasurers of Guys and St. Lukes Hospital
To the Peers of Great Britain. To the Peeresses in their-

Directors of the Bank South Sea and East India Company
To the College of Physicians. "To the Doctors of Civil Law
To his Majestys Council learned in the Law. To his-
Majestys Serjeants at Law and other Serjeants. To the
Masters in Chancery. To the Bankers of the City of
London and Westminster & To the Editors of the several
Magazines.
