President and Treasurer to Procure
a Petition to be presented to parliamt.
for confirming the present Govrs.
of the Hospitals of St. Bartholomew
Christ Bridewell & St. Thomas the
Apostle
in a Bill for Establishing and Confirming the Present Governors
of the respective Hospitals of Saint Bartholomew. Bethlem
Christ
Bridewell
and Saint Thomas the Apostle
in the Exercise and
Enjoyment of all such Acts Powers and Priviledges relating to the
said Hospitals and the Estates and Revenues thereof as therein
to be expressed in such manner as they shall be advised And
Also to Prepare and Procure to be brought in a Bill for the
Purposes aforesaid and to do Cause to be done alk other matters &
things necessary or expedient to be done for carrying or passing
such Bill into a Law and the Question being put it passed in
the Affirmative unanimously.
Crown Lord his Benefaction of
£100. reported
Mr. Treasurer reported that he had received of the
Right Honble Lord Craven by the Hands of the Revd. Mr. Wight
the Sum of £100.. as a Benefaction to Bridewell
& Bethlem
Hospitals It was moved and Seconded that the thanks of
this Court be given to his Lordship for his kind and Charitable
Donation which is unanimously Ordered and that Mr.
Wight be desired to signify to his Lordship the sense of
this Court respecting such his Benefaction.
