after for Mr Locks Gift


Upon Reading the Humble Petition of
Thomas Underhill< no role > Citizen and Weaver Setting forth That
he served his Apprenticeship in this Hospital to Robert
Lemare
< no role > by Indenture dated 2d. July 1770 and by Order
of Court of the 11th July 1777 was made free of this City the 7th.
Day of April 1778 was set up for himself in his Trade
as a Weaver at No.2 Hughes Court Water Lane Black
Friars and has received Mr Fowkes Gift and praying
part of Mr. Locks Gift It is Ordered that Henry
Major
< no role > Esqr . Robt. Longton< no role > Esqr and Mr. Philip Bell< no role >
or any two of them be desired to Inquire if the said Thos.
Underhill be set up for himself in his Trade and of his
hopefulness therein and Report the same to the Court.
