should be Present at any time that the same Seal should
be used or Occupied and that all kind of Writings that at any
time thereafter should pass under the same Seal being first
Examined by three of the Alderman and four of the Commoners
being governors of the House whereunto the Lands & Tenements
or other things mentioned within the same Writings did or
should belong and subscribed with their Hands according to
the Order there before taken for the same should there be Sealed in
a full Court without any reading or farther Examination of
the same.

That all and every Writings belonging to the aforesaid
several Hospitals have been from time to time and at all times
heretofore upon every Application Sealed with the aforesaid
Seal without any interruption denial or delay.

That the mode of managing and Letting the Estates
belonging to the said Hospitals is and has been for a great
number of Years past Conducted with the greatest Care and
Attention to the Interest of the said Respective Hospitals they having
been and being Let by and before the Treasures and Committees
of the governors of each Hospital after surveys have been
previously made by able Surveyors for that Purpose Elected in the
said several Hospitals and upon each Letting Contracts have been
and are prepared and entered in the Books of the said Hospitals
and signed by such Contractors and in Pursuance of such
Agreements Leases are and have been prepared by or by the
Orders of the Clerks of the said Hospitals and being approved of
and Examined and afterwards subscribed by the President or
treasurer and some of the governors of such several Hospitals
respectively the same are and have been left at the Chamberlain
Office with a Dockett expressing the dates, parties Names,
situation of the Premises intended to be Demised, Term of Years
to be Granted, Rent to be paid and Money (if any) Agreed
to be laid out in Building or Repairs and the same being
