Continued Thursday 18th. April 1776.

There are in the Ledgers some separate accounts particularly
Locks Gift. Fowkes's Gift Rands Gift and Northleigh Rectory.

As to Locks Gift and Fowkes Gift the Messuages or Tenement lift
by those Getleman were directed to be particularly and not generally Approperent.
We therefore think it right to continue those Accouts seperateBut as to
Rands Gift which we do not find was lift for any seperate Use and as to
Northleigh the Rents and profits thereof belong to Bridewell Hospital
Generally we thereof think the seperate Entries relating to those two
Articles shod. be discontinued for the future.

We preceive that there is ballance of £17732..12s..94d due from
Bridewell Hospital to Bethlem and which has been several Years
Accumulation and as Bridewell Hospital hath Money in the funds we
would with Deference to the Court Submit to its consideration whether
£8100.. Bank Ammunites which now stand in the Books under the Title of
Bridewell Hospital should not be carried to the Account of Bethlem and the
Dividents which the treasurer Yearly receives on those Annuites for the future
be carried to that Account then the Annual Income of Bethlem Hospital upon
that alternation will Instead of £6623..12s..3d by £6066..12s..3d and Bridewell
Hospital Instead of £4000..9s..will be £3757..9s..

And we find that the mode in which the Accounts of then Hospitals
have been heretofore and are yet kept is not so clear methodical and concise
as other Accounts of the same nature and Accounts in General are usually kept
and therefore humbly recommend it to the Court that the Accounts of both
Hospitals as well for the present Current Year commencing at Christmas
last and ending at Christmas next as likewise the future Accounts be
stated and kept in a more intelligent manner All which is nevertheless
submitted to the Judgement of the Court" It is Ordered that it be
referred to the Auditor General and Committee of Auditors for the time being
together with John Darker< no role > Esquire Mr. Thomas Korne< no role > Mr. Deputy Saffory
John Rivington< no role > Esq . and Wm. James< no role > Esqr . to Write of the Arrears mentioned
in their Report in manner recommanded to the Court by such Report & also
that they or any five or more of them do form a slan for keeping the
Accounts of both Hospitals for the future And that they or any five or
more of them be Impowered to call in and pay for such assistance as they
shall see necessary.

It is Ordered that £8100.. Annuities now standing in the
Books in the Bank of England to the Credit and Account of these Hospitals
under the Title of Bridewell Hosptial be Transferred and Carried to
the Account of Bethlem Hosptial And it is Ordered that the
other parts of the said Report be confirmed
