Patients
That no Patients be permitted to go out of their respective
galleries without leave of the Physician Surgeon or Apothecary
Tradesmen
That all Tradesmen Employed by these Hospitals do
within one Week after each Quarter Day deliver in their
Bills up to the Quarter day then last past and that such Bill
be paid as soon as Audited
That any Tradesman giving or receiving any Fee Christmas
Box or other Perquisite to or from any Officer or Servant of these
Hospitals be dismissed from the Service of these Hospitals and be
Incapable of serving the same for the future
Arts Masters & Apprentices
That each Arts Master to be hereafter Elected shall
engage to Employ four Apprentices at the least and upon
failure shall be immediately turned out
That Vacancies of Apprentices be immediately filled if there
are Boys ready who are property Qualified
That the Regulations now in being relating to Arts Masters
and Apprentices be Strictly Observed
Prisons & Prisoners
That the City and Hospital Apprentices be alway kept seperate
from the other Prisoners.
That no Prisoner (except the Chamberlains Apprentices) be
allowed a Bed except by Order of the Prison Committee or (in Case
of Sickness) of some one of the Physical Officers of the Hospitals
or of the Steward of BridewellSuch Beds to be found at the
expence of the Hospital
That a Vintilator be erected in the Mens Prison and that
the Ventilators be worked twice every day half an Hour each time
That the Prisons be Furnigated twice a Week with Tar or
VinegarAnd That the Straw be changed as often as needful
That a Bathing Tub be provided for the Mens Prison and
another for the Womens Prison and that all Prisoners in Health
to bear it be bathed before brought up to a General Court. All these latle
Regulations concerning the Prisoners to be submitted to the Prison Committee
