Continued Thursday 22d June 1775
Preacher and Reader

That for the future the Preachers Salary be £160a Year and no
Perquisites payable by the Hospitals

That for the future the Readers Salary be £110a Year and no
Perquisites payable by the Charity

That upon the next Vacancy of a Preacher the Officer of Preacher and
Reader be Consolidated with a Salary of £150 a Year the House the
Preacher now resides in and no Perquisites whatever payable by the
Hospital.

Apothecary

That for the future the Apothecaries Salary be £80 a Year and
no Perquisites except Coals Candles Soap and the Provisions of the House

Stewards & Receiver

That the Steward of Bridewell give Security (as usual) himself and two
sureties Jointly and severally bound in £1000 The Sureties to be
approved by the Committee of Inspection and a General Court

That his Salary before the future £80 a year and no Perquisites
payable by the Hospitals

That the Steward of Bethlem give Security (as usual) himself and
two Sureties Jointly and severally bound in £500 The Sureties to
be approved by the Committee of Inspection and a General Court

That his Salary be for the future £100 a Year and no
Perquisites payable by the Hospitals except Coals Candles Soap and
the Provisions of the House

That the Steward of Bethlem produce his Accounts every Week to the
Bethlem Committee

NB The Stewards being Officer of great Trust it is the Opinion
of this Committee that no deduction from their Salaries will be proper
in Case of Vacancies

That the Lincolnshire Receiver give Security himself and two
Sureties Jointly and severally Bound in £1000 The Sureties to
be Approved by the Committee of Inspection and a General Court

That both Steward and the Lincolnshire Receiver pay all
Monies to the treasurer as soon as received.

Matrons

That the present Matron of Bridewell be dismissed from her
Employment on Account of her Age and be allowed an Annuity if
£30 for Life and the Use of one Bed Chamber in the Matrons
House as a Reward for her long Services.
