This Committee in pursuance of an Order of Court the 11th. day of
July last Reconsider'd their Report dated the 3d. day of July (and referred to
them by the sd. Court) Concerning the Fees Usually paid upon the Admcon
of Patients into Bethlem Hospital, And are of Opinion that the Clerk
should be allowed £100 P Ann in lieu of the Customary fees taken
upon the Admcon of patients into the said Hospital from the 1st. of
March next 1760They also reconsider'd the fees Usually
Demanded and received on Account of the Servants of the sd. Hospital
And are of Opinion they shou'd be Continued on the same footingfromBut shead from
the 1st. of March next 1760 be paid by the Hospital & not by the Patients or
their friendsThis Comittee are also of Opinion that the Steward of
the said Hospital shall from the first of March next receive £2.. 2 - & no
more for every Patient who is Admitted into the said Hospital at his or
her own Expence Or that of their familys to Defray the Charge of Bedding &
towards the other Charges of the houseThis Committee are also of
Opinion that the Steward Do demand and receive for every patient
brought into the said Hospital from any parish or publick Office the
Sum of £3 - 6d to Defray the Charges of Beading & towards the other
Charges of the House All which is Nevertheless Submitted to the
Judgment of the house And Orderd that this opinion be reported to the Court house
This Court having duly weighed and Consider'd the said Report
Doth Confirm the same.
